Lisa Fox creates custom calligraphic artwork at The Zachary Bear Store. She uses colored and graphite pencils to create attractive layouts of lettering. She illustrates quotes promoting family, love and respect for individual differences.
Lisa learned her craft over many years combining an education in lettering styles, tools and media. After learning "the rules" of calligraphy she has developed her own lively, modern style complete with shading and swashes. Her mottos include "gotta learn something new every day" and "make it work" as guidance when challenged by a design that just isn't quite right.
She is very serious about pursuing her family history. Family tree charts are another use of Lisa's broad nib calligraphy pen.
